Request for Relief for ConEd Non-compliance

The Office of the Registrar (OOTR) shall address member non-compliance regarding the Continuing Education (ConEd) Program in accordance with the regulations under the Architects Act and any associated Council policies. The OOTR may consider extenuating circumstances, having regard to the OAA’s duty to accommodate in accordance with the Human Rights Code, R.S.O. 1990, c. H.19 Code. To request relief under the policy, you must complete and submit this Request for Relief for ConEd Non-Compliance form. Granting relief under this policy is discretionary and all decisions of the OOTR are final. The review process takes approximately one week, provided all required documentation is filed. The completed form must be emailed to compliance@oaa.on.ca, with “Request for Relief: Continuing Education Noncompliance” in the subject line. This form will only be accessible on the OAA Website for a limited time. You must submit the Request Form on or before July 19, 2024.
